Introduction - accessible web design

This is the implementation side: taking accessibility findings (yours, an auditor's, or ours) and actually building the fixes - semantic HTML structure, proper form labels, visible focus states, keyboard navigation that works without a mouse, and color choices that pass contrast checks without you having to redesign your whole brand palette.

We build accessible by default on new projects rather than bolting it on afterward - it's cheaper and produces cleaner code than retrofitting ARIA attributes onto a div-soup layout later.

Accessible design is mostly just good design

Most WCAG-AA requirements overlap heavily with things that make a site better for everyone: real headings instead of styled divs, buttons that look clickable, forms that tell you exactly what's wrong when validation fails, text that's readable in direct sunlight on a phone. Treating accessibility as a separate afterthought checklist usually produces worse results than just building it in from the start.

Where full compliance requires tradeoffs (a complex data visualization, for instance), we'll tell you honestly what's achievable and what needs an alternative format.

What's included

  • Semantic HTML structure (proper headings, landmarks, lists)
  • Keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators throughout
  • ARIA labels only where semantic HTML isn't enough
  • Color palette verified against WCAG AA contrast ratios
  • Accessible form validation with clear error messaging
  • Screen reader testing pass before handover

Our process

1. Review current state

We audit your existing site or design mockups against WCAG AA before writing any code, so fixes are planned, not reactive.

2. Build or remediate

New pages get built accessible from the start; existing pages get remediated section by section with visible progress on staging.

3. Verify & handover

A final keyboard and screen-reader pass confirms the fixes actually work in practice, plus a short guide for your team to keep new content accessible.

Pricing

Remediation of an existing site is usually cheaper than building accessible from scratch, since some structure is already reusable. Range: Rs 35,000 - 180,000 - indicative, final quote after discovery. Request a quote or WhatsApp +92 324 2991303.

Industries we serve

Public-sector and education sites facing compliance requirements, healthcare portals, and any consumer brand wanting a genuinely wider reach without excluding keyboard or screen-reader users.

Frequently asked questions

Will this change how my site looks?
Contrast and focus-state fixes are usually minor visual adjustments, not a redesign. We work within your existing brand where possible.
Do you start from an audit, or can you do both?
Both - we can audit and remediate together, or implement fixes from a report you already have from us or another auditor.
What about PDF documents on our site?
PDF remediation is a different skill set with its own tools; we can advise or bring in a specialist for large PDF libraries.
Does this affect SEO?
Generally positively - semantic HTML and proper heading structure help search crawlers understand your content too.
Can existing WordPress/Shopify themes be made accessible?
Most can be significantly improved, though some theme-level limitations may require a template change for full compliance.
How do we keep new content accessible after launch?
We hand over a short practical guide - alt text habits, heading order, link text - for whoever adds content after us.
