Voice AI IVR

Voice AI IVR Development - Ainexo

Where voice AI genuinely helps - and where it doesn't

Voice AI IVR makes sense when a business gets a real, recurring volume of phone calls asking a limited set of questions: hours, order status, appointment availability, basic troubleshooting. It makes far less sense as a blanket replacement for every phone interaction - complex complaints and high-stakes conversations still need a human, and pretending otherwise creates a worse experience than a simple menu. We scope every voice AI project around which calls should be automated and which should route to a person immediately.

What we build

  • Speech-to-text call intake using official cloud APIs (Google Speech-to-Text or equivalent), not experimental open-source models with unpredictable accuracy on Pakistani-accented English or Urdu
  • Intent matching against a defined set of your actual common requests - not open-ended conversation that can wander into promises you can't keep
  • Clean handoff to a human agent with a transcript, for anything outside the automated scope
  • Call logging into your CRM so you can see what's actually being asked, not just call volume

Realistic scope

This is not a general-purpose conversational AI that handles anything a caller says. It's a defined menu of intents (2-8 is typical for a first version) backed by real speech recognition, with a fast, honest fallback to a human for everything else. Starting narrow and expanding based on real call transcripts produces a better system than trying to handle every scenario on day one.

Pricing

Typically Rs 80,000-350,000 depending on number of intents, integration complexity (CRM, calendar, order system) and call volume. Ongoing hosting/API usage costs are separate and billed at actual provider rates, not marked up.

Frequently asked questions

Will this replace our phone staff entirely?
No, and we'd say so upfront if you asked for that. It handles a defined set of common, repetitive requests and hands off everything else to a human with a transcript.
Does it understand Pakistani-accented English or Urdu?
We build on official speech-to-text APIs and test against real call samples from your business before launch - accuracy varies by provider and accent, and we're upfront about limitations found in testing.
How many call types can it handle?
Typically 2-8 well-defined intents for a first version. Expanding scope is easier once you have real transcripts showing what callers actually ask.
What does it cost to run monthly, beyond the build?
Speech-to-text and LLM API usage is billed at the provider's real per-minute or per-call rate - we pass this through without markup and show you the numbers.
Can it book appointments or check order status?
Yes, if it can query your existing calendar or order system through an API - that's scoped and quoted as part of the integration.
How long does a first version take?
Typically 6-10 weeks including testing against real call samples before go-live.
